My love of breeding started in my grandmas barn raising St. Bernard and Boxer puppies. Every time a litter was born I’d pack my bags and head to her house to tend to the babies. All night feedings became my biggest joy. I knew then that one day I would become a breeder.

My passion for poodles began in grade school when a pair of toy poodles became part of our family and our hearts. Currently we are sharing our home with two toy poodles, Rosie and Annie who are mother and daughter, a beautiful standard poodle who is certified as a Delta Society Therapy Dog. And our new love Gracie Girl.

Paris is fully tested for genitic disease and is the mother of our grand-dogs. Miss Gracie will be be joining our breeding program in the future.

• The Poodle is not allowed in the house.
• Okay, the poodle is allowed in the house but only in certain rooms.
• The poodles can get on the old furniture only.
• Fine, the poodle is allowed on all the furniture, but is not allowed to sleep on the bed.
• Okay, the poodle is allowed to sleep on the bed, but only by invitation.
• The poodle can sleep on the bed whenever he wants, but not under the covers.
• The poodle can sleep under the covers by invitation only.
• The poodle can sleep under the covers every night.
• Humans must ask permission to sleep under the covers with the poodle.

Therapy Poodle In Walmart!                                         12/24/2008   

Today there was a beautiful Standard Poodle at Walmart walking around
in her Delta Therapy vest, greeting all of the employees and ALLL of
the customers in the isles! It was sooo neat. One of the customers came
up to ask her if she could pet the S'poo and told the S'poo that her
dog passed away just the day before and she was just the medicine that
she needed....

Who was this wonderful S'poo?? PARIS!!!! Anyone doing therapy work
between now and Christmas, please stop at walmart and let all of the
shoppers tell you their stories. I've never felt so needed in my life.
What a wonderful gift this was to ME to be able to brighten so many
peoples Christmas Holidays.

One little boy told me this was the most Special Day of his life
because he touched a big dog for the first time ever! The managers welcomed us with open arms!

I wanted to share a little story with you all about our trip to
Phoenix, in the airport.                                                                                                      
Paris and I were changing planes in the DFW airport, walking from one
terminal to the next. This airport is HUGE so we were confused and
walking pretty fast to get to the next flight. Paris is always so
great at walking with me perfectly, but suddenly she stopped and
pulled as hard as she could to the side. I couldn't go on because she
was pulling so hard. Finally I turned around to see why she was doing
this and she was staring as a woman sitting alone waiting for a
different flight. When I looked at the woman she held out her hand to
Paris and Paris took off towards her. There were thousands of people
in this huge airport but only one that Paris focused on.                                          
When Paris reached the woman with her outstretched arms, she put her
hands on Paris' head and broke down crying. I was at a loss for
anything to say. The woman looked up and said to me, "Yesterday my
10 year old standard poodle dropped dead on the grooming table with
no warning at all." Tears streamed down her cheeks as she held Paris,
and she thanked us for helping her get through the day.
How on earth does a dog know??? This isn't the first time she's done
this.
