A word from Cathy about her puppies.
We were the proud owner of 2 Golden doodles for 11 and 12 years. I swore once they passed away I would never get another dog. Well that didn’t take long before the search was on. The loneliness and quite house was too overwhelming. We searched the Internet for various breeds. It was important for my 5-year-old daughter to have a dog that was princess material. My teenage son wanted a bloodhound…so we googled that and she looked at the picture and she said with disgust THAT IS NO PRINCESS!! We finally decided on a standard poodle because of their gentle temperament. Then we had to decide on a color and breeder. I was desperate, even looking into Canada and the UK. I was ready to give up when John called me and said I think I found our puppy. I immediately logged onto luckypoodle.com and called Lisa. They only had two left, and I purchased them both. Lisa you went above and beyond as a breeder, and now as a friend. She kept a live web cam on the puppies 24/7. It was so nice that my little ones got to see the puppy’s nurse and play. It was a real learning experience for them.
Shortly after I ordered the puppies, I had something devastating happen in my life. I now suffer from Post Traumatic Stress. I thought how am I going to care for puppies when I can’t even take care of myself? I thought of canceling my order but I couldn’t let my kids down like that. Seeing the puppy cam every morning was my incentive to get out of bed. I tell you though; those pups have helped me through a rough time!!! The unconditional love they give, has been such a blessing in my healing process. They were easily trained to stay in their yard, sit, shake, heal, no jump, and potty training. I love my two boys and and am thinking of another!!! Lisa has been more than a dog breeder, hopefully a life long friend.
